Making Football World Cup 2026 Crackers...
Well, here at the cracker company, we love an excuse for a random cracker… With the 2026 World Cup now upon us, what better excuse could we have?
Both England and Scotland have made it through to the World Cup, so we are unapologetically only focusing on their flag colours, apologies to supporters of the other teams! Fingers crossed that we will be doing their flag colours next time…
Making your own World Cup 2026 crackers
We offer two different football themed cracker making craft kits, our original “Just Footballs” and our newly released “Football Fan”.
Each set contains cracker making boards, which are pre-cut and easily assembled using the tabs within the cracker – adhesives are not needed. Also included, are our exclusive adjustable cracker hats, snaps and jokes.
Choose from either our standard cracker or our large cracker sizes. As an indication of size, our standard cracker barrel, which is where the hat, joke and gift are added, is roughly the same size as the tube inside a toilet roll.

Ribbons, ribbons, ribbons…
Ribbons are optional with our kits, and are either green or gold, depending on which set you choose.
It’s easy to convert these for a World Cup 2026 party or celebration, just by omitting the optional ribbons and choosing the right coloured ribbons for your country’s flag.
So, for an England flag, you would choose red and white ribbons and for Scotland you would choose royal blue and white ribbons. We recommend that you use satin ribbons and not grosgrain, as these will create a ribbon knot more neatly, when two are used together.
Of course, you could easily use different ribbon combinations for your World Cup team colour - we have a huge choice of ribbon colours here.

Which UK team do you support?
Perhaps you are a Liverpool, Everton or Bournemouth supporter and would prefer their team strip colours…
You could easily use the England ribbons we have suggested, to make a Manchester United themed cracker. You’ll get the gist and we won’t mansplain that!
What will you add to your World Cup crackers?
As we all move, very quickly, away from cheap plastic cracker fillers, which aren’t even used once before they reach landfill, this is a great time to use something that is football themed and has a value after the cracker is pulled.
