Making Tulletastic Crackers
Are you tired of the little bows on the crackers that you buy? Are you fancying being a bit more creative and making something with a big dollop of impact?
If so, you will love our collection of large Tulletastic crackers with fabulous big bows, made from soft tulle in coordinating and contrasting colours, or perhaps you could use our large crackers and tulle rolls to design your own Tulletastic crackers...
If choosing one of our Tulletastic cracker kits, then each set includes six large cracker boards, pre-cut and ready for you to assemble, snappy strips, our exclusive adjustable paper cracker hats, generic jokes, a roll of soft tulle for one end of the cracker and a reel of skinny organza ribbon to tie the other end.
All you will need to from your own stash is a good quality tape or glue gun to attach the snappy strips and a sharp pair of scissors to cut the tulle.
From one roll of tulle, you will be able to cut twelve 83cm strips. For each bow, you will need to use two 83cm strips. Lay these on top of each other, then wrap around the neck of the cracker and tie a bow as normal. Simple, there is nothing more complicated than that!
One roll of tulle will make six crackers, as the other end of the cracker would be tied with the skinny ribbon to match. Of course, you could just add in an extra roll of tulle and add big bows to each end – you can never have too much on a cracker, or can you!
So, if you want to make Tulletastic crackers, creating something that your guests will “wow!” at, then please take a look at our range of Tulletastic cracker kits and our reels of tulle today.
Making Your Tulletastic Crackers
To start making your Tulletastic crackers, you'll need to assemble the crackers themselves first. You can follow our step by step guide below or head to our How to Make Our Printed Cracker Kits page.
You'll be using tulle to tie one end your crackers rather than ribbon as shown in the video, so once you've reached the tying stage, just follow the instructions below the video...
To make your big bows, first cut twelve 83cm strips of tulle. For each bow, you will need to use two 83cm strips.
Lay these strips on top of each other, then wrap around the neck of the cracker and tie a bow as normal.
Fill your cracker and then tie up the other end of your crackers with a skinny ribbon. Your crackers are complete!
